Donald Angle on Harpsichord
Donald Angle
Digital Compact Disc.
AFKA Records & BKM Associates, 1990.
$21.00 Postpaid in U.S.
Donald Angle is unique among
harpsichord performers. Others have tried to copy him but none have succeeded. If you are
not familiar with him, you may be surprised to know that he performs other than classical
music on the harpsichord; rags, old folk tunes, pop tunes, jazz, rock, marches, whatever,
with sensitivity, good taste and not just a little humor. In his hands one soon realizes
that the harpsichord truly has the capability of being the instrument of all times and
places.
